The Problem for Protestants

"The problem is simple. If nobody since the Apostles is infallible, then the compilation of the biblical canon, and hence its characterization as divinely inspired and inerrant, are fallible. And if so, then the belief that the Bible is the sole inerrant rule of faith is only an opinion, not a doctrine taught with divine authority calling for the assent of faith."

  1. The most surprising thing to me is that many Protestants will basically admit to this and then just brush this fact aside like it is no big deal.
